Our gorgeous dual-master home is an immaculate and completely renovated 4-bedroom (with additional bunk beds and sleeper sofas, which most consider a 5th bedroom/bonus room), 3 bath home that sits on 7+ private acres, with private pool, outdoor shower, whirlpool bathtub, outdoor grill, fire pit and much, much more!
Rarely in San Antonio can you find a place that offers acreage, as well as close proximity to so many attractions. Enjoy modern updates and conveniences while relaxing on 7 private acres, with your own private custom pool, outdoor shower, fire pit, huge outdoor living space, all in a fantastic location! We're just 5 minutes from the Guadalupe River (everyone should experience tubing down the Guadalupe!), 5 minutes from Guadalupe State Park (beautiful!), 15 minutes from popular Boerne (pronounced Bernie), La Cantera (shopping/golf), Six Flags, Top Golf, iFly, and the bustling northwest side of San Antonio. Just 30 minutes from downtown San Antonio (Riverwalk, Alamo, and The Pearl District). Our home is also near Texas Wine Country, spanning from Sisterdale to Comfort to Fredericksburg and Luckenbach/Austin! Our property is located in the tiny town of Bergheim, Texas, which has become an escape from the hustle and bustle of San Antonio. Our little town is home to hundreds of sprawling estates, and is nestled between larger Hill Country suburbs, Boerne and Bulverde. Both Boerne and Bulverde are popular Hill Country destinations 10-15 minutes away, and both feature fine dining, large grocery stores, and anything else you may desire. Head east 25 minutes to New Braunfels (home of Schlitterbahn Water Park). The options are endless!
Now let's focus on the house. This home was built in the 1980's, and we renovated it down to the studs, and added a second master with en suite (among many other things). It has a fresh, airy, and welcoming modern farmhouse feel. It was a huge undertaking, but we wanted to provide a once-in-a-lifetime Hill Country experience to our guests. We are very proud of the end result, and are pleased to share just some of the many amenities below.
First and foremost, this is a one-level ranch home, ideal for many types of people, particularly those traveling with older guests, who may not be able to maneuver stairs. Secondly, there are no pets allowed, and there is laminate or tile throughout the home, so those with allergies are welcome! Even our pillows are covered in allergy-free pillow protectors.
If you are traveling with a variety of friends and family, you will appreciate that we have added a second master bedroom on the opposite side of the home. With a dual-master setup, you can accommodate more than one family very easily. The sleeping arrangements are as follows:
Master 1 - king bed w/ ensuite (6ft whirlpool tub, shower, private toilet room, wall mounted TV in bathroom, as well as TV in main bedroom. ENORMOUS walk-in his/her closet. Master has french doors that lead out to pool/patio area), and another set of french doors that lead to the private bathroom.
Master 2 - located on the opposite wing of home, with king bed, walk-in closet and en suite with shower/toilet (marble throughout). This bedroom also has french doors to the outside. Gorgeous!

There are 3 full, completely renovated LUXURIOUS bathrooms, one attached to each master, and one located between the 2 guest bedrooms. For normal vacation rentals, we tend to provide a fairly standard package of amenities. However, this home will also serve as a seasonal home for our parents, so the amenities are much more vast:

-Immaculate ready-to-cook-and-eat kitchen with stainless steel appliances & granite countertops, eat-in bar
-NEW front-loading washer and dryer
-Resort-style showers and baths
-HUGE closets (for your souvenirs)
-High-speed fiber optic wireless internet (faster than any of our other homes), and SO MUCH MORE.
If you think you'll enjoy the inside, wait until you hear about the many upgrades outdoors! The front yard features extensive NEW landscaping and a large driveway to accommodate multiple vehicles. As you approach the back yard, you will be drawn to the pool area and sun deck (with plenty of lounge chairs and eating space). It's the perfect spot to unwind and cool off on a hot Texas day!
The beautiful weather in San Antonio affords us the luxury of having our pool open YEAR ROUND! Our pool is not heated, but history has proven December and January (and sometimes February) are really the only months it gets too cold to swim. We do manage a few different properties, some of which have hot tubs, so please inquire if you are looking for that amenity.
We hope you'll enjoy the time and labor we put into adding lots of lush, tropical landscaping including palm trees, banana trees, fruit trees and more. The pool area provides both sun and shade, to accommodate all. There is a ton of outdoor seating including tables for 12, a lounge area with seating for 8-10, and an additional seating area off of the private entrance to your master bedroom, all of which is great for watching deer, listening to birds, or just relaxing with your morning coffee. The back yard scenery is truly incredible, as you views tons of wildlife (deer, birds, hummingbirds on a regular basis). After swimming or playing outside, cool off in our outdoor tiled shower! -Such a fun addition!
Of course, no oasis is complete without a stainless steel gas grill, ready for those spectacular family BBQ's! You will see our cool little barn (although it hasn't been renovated quite yet), and LOTS of outdoor space to explore, play sports, etc. Finally, we can't forget the fire pit (bring your own firewood please), which makes for a relaxing family evening roasting marsh mellows and making smores.
To have these Hill Country amenities is a special thing, but the fact that you're located so close to San Antonio and other Hill Country destinations makes it even that much more special. Here is your proximity to local attractions:
